This week, singer-songwriter Dee Bronte (proudly represented by EDPR) took a moment out of her busy schedule to talk about the new video for her song, Wonder. ”It started off as something different, and ended up turning into a beautiful ballad…It’s unpretentious, it’s honest and it’s vulnerable,” says Dee.

Filmed in an abandoned Detroit church, the video truly reflects the spirit of the song. Dee was initially hesitant about the location but, videographer Jay Baskey, convinced her that the building was indeed the perfect backdrop for her soulful lyrics. “At first I was reluctant, I’m not a religious person, so I didn’t want people to get the wrong idea, but, when we found this church in Detroit, it spoke to me… it had it’s own story, it was tragic and beautiful.”

Shot in only a few hours, the results represent a beautiful, raw side of Dee. Check it out!

The JUNO Awards celebrate major accomplishments in Canadian music. Canada has had an above average year when it comes to chart toppers, thanks to the help of artists like: Robin Thicke, Matt Dusk, Serena Ryder, Drake, Hedley and many others.
