On September 4th, 2014, the world lost a comedic icon. At the age of 81, Joan Rivers passed away from a routine throat procedure at Mount Sinai Hospital. The outpouring of support from Hollywood was enormous, as this comedic trailblazer was remembered for her outlandish and fearless sense of humour.

Soon after the horrible news of Joan’s passing, CTV caught up with fellow superstar comedian Carla Collins as she recounted her time spent with the formidable Joan Rivers.
